As our schools and communities work to recover from the lockdown and develop new routines and new ways of working, Data Education for Schools is developing fun, home based projects for the whole family to learn about data. These projects support numeracy and literacy skills, in line with government guidelines for the return to school, however they also provide a great way to get all the family thinking about data and understanding where it can be found and how it can be used.
Projects assume no prior knowledge and aim to make use of materials commonly found in the home or surrounding area.
