This event will introduce the new national framework for digital literacies in Scottish ITEs to academic staff, policy makers and schools

Did you know that there is a new framework for Digital Literacies for student teachers in Initial Teacher Education in Scotland? Although this framework was nearly completed by the time the pandemic began, the sudden move to online schooling highlighted why it is so important that student teachers have the opportunity to learn about digital learning and teaching.

Join Derek Robertson and other colleagues from the working group who developed the framework to find out what it contains and hear about some examples of good practice from across Scotland.

This event is intended for academic staff at initial teacher education institutions, educational policy makers, school staff who supervise the work of student teachers and teachers who are interested in reflecting on how they can develop their own professional practice in digital literacies.
